Evening Campfire at Birch House
As evening settles over Madeline Island, follow your guide along a forest trail into the trees. Along the way, discover the plants and trees of the northern forest and experience the changing atmosphere of the woods as daylight fades.

The Experience
Deep among the trees, the welcoming glow of Birch House awaits.
Step inside and gather around the fire in a space unlike any other. Warm light dances across the bark walls, the scent of woodsmoke fills the air, and the quiet sounds of the nighttime forest surround you.
Through the smoke hole overhead, catch glimpses of the evening sky and, on clear nights, the stars above.
Settle in with friends or family and enjoy a cup of Labrador tea harvested on the island, gently sweetened with maple sugar. Learn about the house and the craftsmanship behind its construction, or simply enjoy the pleasure of being together.
There is no rush and no crowded itinerary—just firelight, warmth, and time to connect.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply sharing an evening with people you care about, Birch House offers an intimate and unforgettable setting.
